True, but I think these are just the Bilstein shocks with the reservoir that people have reported issues with. You've got the Fox shocks I think, which haven't had any reported issues, at least that I've seen.

I feel like you are going to run into: "If we say we put them on your vehicle, we have to put them on your vehicle. If we put them on and take them off, even for a minute, they are used and the value of used shocks is nearly nothing."

If they did, I'd probably pay to have the fronts upgraded to match, so it could be a win-win. :)

You might have to have the dealer visually inspect your vehicle under the recall so they can note that it is not applicable/close it out for your VIN. Ford may require them to see rather than simply take the customer's word.

I would bet that the dealers are going to be the first recipients of the replacement shocks so that they can sell those vehicles sooner.
