Ford's doc for the ProCal tuner states "Premium fuel required." While I understand that modern engines can retard timing for lower octane fuels, there are still stated required minimum octane ratings. The base tune requires 87. It is my understanding that Ford's statement is saying that the...
Inspection guy was saying to use that frame for assembly only as a last resort--if there were no other frames to be found. Must have been right at the pass/fail rejection point.
I've gotten my Lexis/Nexis report, and it is a comedy of errors and questionable information. However, I am not aware of how to get a report from Verisk. There is nothing I can see on their website.
I am not concerned that data is going somewhere, I'm concerned about where the data is going. Using my data to provide me with the service I want is fine, but using it to sell to an insurance company (et al) is not. As I understand it, Ford isn't selling our data today, only using it to provide...

And not as far forward, reducing the fulcrum weight effect.
But did I read in a later post that you've spent $3,800 on this project? If so, you are more dedicated than I am.
I think this is the best and only way I would do a front winch. Excellent!
I'm betting that you aren't experiencing front suspension drop like those who have their winches hanging further forward than yours.
Many 2.3 owners who have tuned with the Ford Performance ProCal unit are happy with the results. Know that your minimum octane requirements go from 87 to 93.
I understand that. I've been switching between "street" tires and the KO2s. For me, extending the life of the KO2s has been worth the trouble. I wouldn't even consider it without my cordless impact driver, though. I'm not sure if you had each on their own set of wheels, but if not, I can see how...
Just in case you didn't dig through the details, you get three different kinds of attachment bins in addition to the FITS hardware. In that perspective, it's not as bad, especially after discounting $22.50 with the discount code. You'd probably want to have plans to use at least two of the...
