Just a small point of clarification - I believe that today's Jeeps (JL and on, at least) use aluminum alloys to a similar degree as does the Bronco. Pretty sure their hoods, doors, maybe the fenders and other stuff are Al alloy, too. So 6G Bronco's aren't Mek's first rodeo with non-magnetic...

Yeah, that right there - anything to reduce the amount of sun/UV exposure helps with the efficacy of whatever treatment is applied to protect against what remains. OP might want to consider seat covers as well.
Rather than try to wrap my head around coating a bumper I'll just offer that I'd think removing a coating there would be the same as anywhere else - clay it. I mean normally a polishing pad and mild compound would get 'er done quicker but you might have a hard time finding a not-very-visible...
