  1. Tips? N Arizona, NM, CO road trip

Looks like a great well planned trip! Been on parts of it. Ojo Caliente Hot springs near Taos are nice. Looks like you are taking the creed/lake city route to montrose. Never did that but heard great things. If you take the Salina route over monarch, both Buena vista and Salina are nice mt...
  2. seat belt reminder

As an aside, I think, but not 100% sure, when you adjust key-door lock chirp it also eliminated double honk. Mine no longer double honks and that is only change I can think of. Again, in past forescan was needed to do that.
  3. seat belt reminder

We’re talking about 2 things here. This hack does eliminate the chime, which in the past required forescan. However, unless I missed something, it does not eliminate the little 1 min infotainment message unless u press the ok button.
  4. What’s great about owning a Bronco?

    Being called BroncoPapa by grandkids
  5. Deep Discounts on Stroppe 2 DR

I’m not surprised by discounts as I think paint is what people object to. What I don’t get is why not wrap it? It’s a loaded, superior 2 door with 2.7 that you cannot get any more. I considered this before getting my 26 BL. I think with a wrap it would be a great buy with these...
  6. Outerbanks Sasquatch vs Badlands (no Sasaquatch)

You have succinctly narrowed down to 2 good options for your needs, especially being new to Broncos. The OBX SAS will have 35" tires, sway bar disconnect and 4.7 gearing. The BL will have 33s, sway bar is optional and 4.4 gearing. My driving is similar to yours - gravel fire roads and not too...
  7. Colorado New Ford Bronco rubber rear floor mat $30 + shipping (carpet also available)

I purchased from Ford and never used the rear rubber floor mats. I also have the rear carpet mats too
  8. Pretty Bummed re: Negative experience with Bronco Nation / TrailRax

I still see official Ford rep on that site even though they “officially” said they no longer monitor here
  9. Pretty Bummed re: Negative experience with Bronco Nation / TrailRax

Not to pile on or bash BN more, but I still check their site from time to time and it seems the user volume/activity has really slowed down from early Bronco heydays of 2020-2022. Guessing this site has become focal point. I was never clear on Fords involvement (ownership?) of BN…..
  10. Order placed '26 2dr Badlands

35s look better, agree, very sharp! Like it
  11. Order placed '26 2dr Badlands

Picked up my ‘26 BL yesterday, ~3 months from order date. I really appreciated everyone’s comments on this forum about ’26 information and changes. I traded in ‘22 OBX lux 4 dr 2.7. So a pretty big change for me. I’ve been wanting something smaller and family thought I should stay with 4 dr 2.7...
  12. Is $3K for brand new MIC top a good deal in 2026?

I have a ‘22 with Mic top that has had honeycombing, which I think is fairly normal. Mine has never had cracks or delaminating. $3k seems pretty close to half price of new and seems pretty close to a fair price. I’m interested is seeing how the painted bedliner MIC tops hold up. That could...
  13. [UPDATE] Broaddict Slide-Out Tailgate Drawer for Bronco 2-Door!

Both, flat surfaces provide more options for everything
  14. 2026 Bronco Badlands - First Impressions (and Changes vs. 2023 Badlands)

I mistakenly relied on B&O info too, not realizing the order guides are source for truth. agree with your observation on removing niceties from Lux package, but overall, items removed can either be added, modified or maybe not needed. BUT we are getting the really cool new black wheels which...
  15. 2026 Bronco Badlands - First Impressions (and Changes vs. 2023 Badlands)

Thanks for the info. Probably why Ford is eliminating this feature. My son said his bmw homelink is not as effective or have the distance as the actual door opener fob. Guess I need to explore more options like you have.
  16. 2026 Bronco Badlands - First Impressions (and Changes vs. 2023 Badlands)

agree-it still looks like its fender heavy. I will either change flares to standard or perhaps go to a 34" tire. Not really interested in doing a lift, etc.
  17. Can I Clear 33.9 inch tires with a 1 inch spacer lift?

I think with 25 offset , as opposed to 55, you may not even need 1” spacer for 33.9” tire
  18. 2026 Bronco Badlands - First Impressions (and Changes vs. 2023 Badlands)

You mentioned offset, but just to clarify, the nonsas BL wheel is now 40 rather than 55. This gives about 5/8” more poke which may help reduce appearance of additional 2” flare width. Maybe additional 1 3/8” flare will help with mud and stones hitting sides
  19. What age range are our Bronco owners here??

nice thread to salute old timers! 63, had an 85 bronco II Eddie Bauer, 2022 OBX and waiting on '26 BL next week. Was telling my kids only 2 others in this category that are older - Jeep and Land Cruiser
