The Tailgate Was Already There. We Just Thought It Should Do More.

There’s a familiar moment after pulling into camp.

The Bronco is parked. The cooler comes out. Coffee gear appears. Somebody needs a flat surface.

And somehow the tailgate—the largest thing standing right next to you—is contributing almost nothing.

That was the thinking behind the Broaddict Foldable Tailgate Table.

Closed on the Trail. Useful at Camp.

Mounted to the inside of the Bronco tailgate, the table stays folded when you’re driving and opens into a 23.6" × 23.2" work surface when you need it.

Coffee in the morning. Camp cooking. Tools on the trail. Lunch at a trailhead.

When folded, it’s only about 2.2 inches thick and doubles as a MOLLE panel for pouches and smaller gear. Two twist locks keep the table secured when closed or in use.

The structure uses Series 5 aluminum, installs with factory mounting locations, and requires no drilling—six nuts and basic hand tools handle the installation.

And importantly, it fits 2021–2026 Bronco 2-Door and 4-Door models.

It would be good to know how much this weighs and how much weight it can take. I don’t see either listed on the website.

The table itself weighs about 17.6 lbs, and the rated load capacity is up to 100 lbs.

So it’s light enough to install and remove without turning it into a two-person project, but still strong enough for normal camp use, cooking gear, tools, or other tailgate setups.

We’ll also get those two specs added to the product page so people don’t have to hunt for them.

The current hardware is natural-finish stainless steel, mainly for durability and corrosion resistance.

We’ve already passed the request for black-finish stainless hardware to our product and procurement teams. The key for us is making the color match without sacrificing corrosion resistance just for appearance.

Once you’ve had some time with both products, we’d love to see more real-world photos of how you’re using them together — camping setups, cargo organization, tailgate cooking, trail days, or anything else that shows how the setup works outside the garage.

Ive had mine for a good while now. No real issues outside of the rattles before I put on some rubber edging. It works great for any situation from a book stand to a kitchen shelf. Its especially good at holding my beer for me while working on the Bronco or just relaxing with friends
Unfortunately, Im not the “take pictures of everything” type of person, so I have no in use pictures available.
I have a coupe BA items on my Bronco, and they have all been worth the purchase. Thanks for making good stuff. Keep up the good work.

I have your earlier designed tailgate table, your cargo area shelf, and your rock rail steps. See pics of tailgate & cargo area). I would love to buy more products (traildeck, 4-dr interior shelf storage, ...), but your current products are not compatible with each other so I have to pick and choose. Hoping your engineering team will come out with products that can be used all at the same time. Its really not that hard especially with modern design tools. All you have to do is make it a design goal.

Your point about cross-product compatibility is absolutely valid.
I’ve passed your feedback directly to our product/design team with a specific request: future Bronco accessories should be developed with compatibility across the Broaddict ecosystem in mind from the beginning, not treated as an afterthought.

Nice commercial but you miss the point. When you open a real pickup type tailgate, like a gen 1 Bronco, it's set up, it's full width and you can stand on it. Side swinging tailgates just add weight weight and are missing the chance to be useful.

Our goal was simply to make better use of the surface that’s already there by adding a fold-down workspace for cooking, tools, or camp gear. It’s rated for up to 100 lbs, but it is not designed to be stood on.

We appreciate the perspective, though — especially the reminder that “more useful” can mean very different things depending on how people actually use their Bronco.
