Haha! I was going to rage on you. You got me good. Well done. Yes this kit looks very interesting. I keep debating this vs Ford ProCal. I am not seeing anything the ProCal kit does that the Panda kit can't do.BUT WHAT INFO ARE YOU STEALING?!?!?!?!
Kidding![]()
If you plan to upgrade your steering rack to the factory Ford Performance Heavy Duty Steering Rack then you will definitely need the Pro Cal Tune unless you go with a third party who created a work around on the upgraded steering rack.Haha! I think you can program the rack with FDRS and Forscan. There is a thread floating around somewhere about it. This would open the doors for people wanting the rack but also want something other than ProCal. I was gonna buy an AliExpress Mongoose cable and test out FDRS on it but don't have the need right now since im not planning to get a tune or rack yet.If you plan to upgrade your steering rack to the factory Ford Performance Heavy Duty Steering Rack then you will definitely need the Pro Cal Tune unless you go with a third party who created a work around on the upgraded steering rack.
I have not seen any other method of installing the rack with the Pro Cal but I know that a 74Weld or Bronco Buster steering rack does not require the Pro Cal.I think you can program the rack with FDRS and Forscan.
