Heated Leather Wheel - Any Way to Add After Delivery?

I finally finished the swap 3 days trying to get the airbag out and 3 hours for the rest. NOTE The Raptor wheel is slightly different than the standard Bronco wheel. The guides are a little further in and the wire is very compressed. I used a 4MM screw driver that was 4" long the wire at about 3". I ended up putting my ear on the airbag and listened for the sound of the spring. Once you get one side out dont pull it up put a plastic card under to keep it from clicking back into place. This happened to me twice. Attached are instructions and the changes needed in Forscan.

Well that was short lived. I had to run an arrand and when I started the Bronco the steering wheel got hot even with no soft button or HVAC button turned on. I pulled the fuse. I am also getting a parking assiit fault. Did any of you run into this issue where the wheel comes on and stays on?

There is no C228C connector number. Do you mean C228A or C228B?

I think my problem may be the pigtail connector.to the SCCM I am not sure I have the positive and negative correct. Do I match PIN 1 and PIN 2 based on the small numbers on the pigtail? I think I may have them reversed. drawing confused me becasue I was not sure how the plug was oriented.

Yes. If the pins are numbered on the connector, then 1 would be ground, 2 would be power.
