Haha, same. Most videos only showed how to remove, with only 1 or 2 attempting to sort of tell you how to reinstall. It was enough for me to figure it out though. It crossed my mind for a moment to make a proper video for re-install but didn't care THAT much after being drenched in sweat from the Texas heat

I WAS a bit worried about dropping my socket into the door, but didn't even think about the screw. I bet that was so frustrating. Cheers

That was my first concern too… til the “plink” sound was heard and socket was still in hand.
It’s been a learning challenge, plus allows me to see what’s involved to install sound deadening material inside doors! 🥸

The 5mm pivot / tension screw sits in a nut held within the white plastic (rearward half) of the door handle base. That nut on mine wasn’t in its cradle so pin fell as soon as you pulled your socket off it. The hardest part was attempting to get nut into cradle and pin to screw into nut with it up in a blind corner of door not intended for big hands! I did learn that removing latch and base, threading door latch & lock cables down through door isn’t sufficient to remove handle base & latch…. Requires window disconnected from rack and taped in up position and rack loosened to allow latch and door base to have room to come out. That was enough to swear openly a bit and gain a little more patience and try it again up in door blind corner… 4th try got it!

Was so frustrating, I was thinking I probably needed to remove door and take to Ford Body shop. Several Hours later I have 2 paint matched Handles on, 3 yet to go… but I know the position the metal prongs need to be now!! 5 minutes each now!

(Not today but last weekend) I had the opportunity to represent Raptor Nation and attend Atlanta Raptor's event Raptor Rampage. The itinerary and logistics were clearly communicated ahead of time, with helpful updates from the leadership team as the weekend approached and a thorough drivers meeting (with donuts) ahead of the events.

If you are in Georgia or anywhere on the East Coast, you need to check out Atlanta Raptors . Their Raptor Rampage event at Iron Mountain Resort was incredibly well organized, welcoming, and an absolute blast, especially if you’re new to off-roading or feeling a little nervous about it. It’s a low-pressure, super approachable environment that makes everyone feel comfortable, no matter your skill level.

Even with unpredictable weather, the day ran incredibly smoothly. Richard, Clyde, and the rest of the leadership team showed a level of confidence, coordination, and professionalism that kept everything moving without making the event feel rushed or chaotic.

As someone still fairly new to off-roading from the driver’s seat, I felt completely supported the whole time. Everyone was patient, encouraging, and genuinely willing to help. no question was too small. I had the chance to ride in F-150 Raptors, Ranger Raptors, and another Bronco Raptor, while several members and leaders rode with me and offered guidance along the way.

I had so much fun actually using my Braptor, getting it dirty, and meeting new people. I also brought my 10 year old daughter, and we both felt completely welcomed and safe throughout the entire event. Seasoned drivers had a great time too, the leaders did a fantastic job of balancing all skill levels with plenty of challenging trails and activities and good company for everyone.

100/10 recommendation for attending an Atlanta Raptors event wether it’s dipping your toes in or getting some air.

On Monday, @1979 and I were up there. We ran the three D's, minus the front side of Daniel. His BRaptor made everything look easy with the 37s and some great driving. There are a few spots that are pretty tight, but he didn't have any issues.

@Deadpool392, we took the same line up Dickey Bell that you and @Copperhorse73 had us do. We walked right up it with out any issues.

@bpdittenber and I will be at Windrock on August 9th after the Off-Rodeo.

Moved my chase lights up on the 3rd brake light using a bracket by Bennett Built. The way I originally had them with home made brackets added to original brackets caused a rattle on the original bracket. Removed the brackets I made and no more rattle. The original brackets are now only for GMRS antenna and a flag whip on the other side.
