Here the results from my latest UOA (No. 9). I towed a trailer for about 1000 of the total miles and due to crazy headwinds in TX, I was under boost for nearly all of them.

Surprisingly, the fuel dilution was nearly perfect at 2.4% which I have not seen for 2.5 years at this point. Everything else appeared to be fine with viscosity holding at 90% retention and the TBN (additive pack) hanging at 55% retention.

I plan to go back to 5K oil change intervals if the next UOA has similar results on the fuel dilution.

Were you up in the panhandle? Texas gets some pretty stiff winds. I'm sure other spots get some crazier winds, but we don't have tornadoes for nuthin'. I used to hate driving my 95 YJ with the four banger down I-35W to Fort Worth because the crosswinds would literally blow me off the road, and headwinds meant 45mph max... 😅

Yep, from Lufkin to Colorado Springs. I have made that trip too many times to count and the winds are always pretty strong, but this time it was over the top. Having the trailer did not help and the only place I have seen stronger winds is on I-80 from Cheyenne to Rock Springs in WY.

Yeah, I've heard of semis being blown over through there.

Nice. My fuel dilution went way down in the latest sample too. Not sure if it’s because of warmer weather or not.
