That is correct. Thank you. However, I did previously hear that the EcoBoost engines should have a timing job around the 150K mark and went with that. A quick look into A.I., because the internet and surly A.I. would never steer you wrong :sneaky:. Results came back timing chain good for life of engine, but oil pump belt should be 150K or 10 years. Keep eye on oil / oil filter for rubber particles for signs of belt degradation.

250K is a lot to ask of a belt in this example :wink:

to be honest, it's the complexity of the computerization that scare me the most with regards to long term ownership.
