Is there a Ford parts manager who can help?
I have a used, one previous owner 2023 Bronco. It came with a color matched Ford OEM wireless entry keypad. The non-Ford dealer I purchased it from did not have the card with the code, it’s not in the manual, glovebox, posted on any hidden area in engine or behind filters or steering columns, etc. In the Ford service manual online it described getting a flash code which I did, it worked, and I have it. My local Ford dealer, Ken Garff Ford AF, Utah, says they cannot help but sell me a new one for $700-$1000. Ouch. I’ve asked parts and service there twice.
The fordservicecontent.com doc says any authorized parts dept can use the flash code to look up the wireless keypad code for me so I can use it.
“The master code can be retrieved from www.fmcdealer.com. Login, go to Parts and Service > Parts Product Line Information > Keys/Entry Devices > Aftermarket Keyless Entry Keypad Code Access. Access to this site is granted to DPES-authorized users. The system will provide the master key code once the flash code has been entered.”
Does anyone know of a friendly and willing authorized dealer who will help? I will happily pay for an hourly service fee.
