Stellantis is a giant flaming mess so no surprise the Bronco sales have surpassed it. Jeep sales declined 5% even with all the price cuts, new models, more V8s etc. Heck... Dodge with all their V8 Durangos still had 15% sales decline.

I don't know how ANY folks (I'm a Ford shareholder) can be happy with a 10% YoY sales decline when almost all other carmakers (except turds like Stellantis) have increased sales in the US.

Hybrid sales are BOOMing and driving US sales growth. I think YoY the industry has seen 17% growth and yet Ford is the laggard.
The biggest thing affecting Ford has been the aluminum plant fire that affected F-series production, and thus sales. Also, dropping Escape/Corsair has had a big impact.

Remove those two outliers, and Ford's sales would be flat for the year.

Bigger picture, Ford is currently suffering from a self-inflicted product lull created by jumping too far into the EV pool and neglecting the ICE products.

Those are just excuses. Toyota RAV4 production has been hampered badly but they are still increasing sales YoY and have a full lineup of EVs and hybrids. Both which outsell Ford.

You can do both - see Toyota and Hyundai/Kia and BMW. EVs sales still solid and ICE vehicles too.

Honestly, without tariffs and the chicken tax... Ford and GM would struggle badly in the US market. Ford and GM are being destroyed in the global market (sales in China were once a billion dollar printing machine).

Took me 5 months to get a tailgate on my Bronco after getting rear ended. Everyone blamed the aluminum shortage. Fortunately it was drivable.

Retail sales of the Escape were mediocre, with the Baby Bronco cannibalizing most retail sales. The majority of Escape sales were fleet and rental companies, so very thin profits.

Imagine what the Bronco sales numbers would be if Ford actually offered “ colors” instead of the “ exterior blah” they routinely roll out.
