Looks great! My wife saw this - looks like I'll be taking mine down to the powder coat shop. I was kind of digging the raw aluminum, but that does look really good!

Thanks Dusty! I've had my eye on this system for a while and you did with it exactly what I wanted to do with it. I'll probably pick it up, though installing it will mean removing my TrailRax and hard top so I need to make some friends :). I'll have to re-do my remote speaker wiring, right now its on the dash and takes up a considerable amount of space there. I think my head unit will remain in place below the steering while. Right now I've got the control panel above the driver sun visor.

I don't think there's any need to remove the TrailRax and hard top if you have a 4 door. Look at post #88 in this thread.

Agreed. The Trailrax TRMR still allows you to remove the front and middle panels while installed.

Sorry to revive a thread. I finally bought the Lobo Overhead Mount System. Excellent product!

If you have a Trailrax rack or similar rack, there is a problem reinstalling the center panel after installing the rack system.

I had to remove two cross bars on my TRMR rack to get the center panel back in place. There's not enough space between the Mount System center rail and the TRMR rack to slide the center panel back in. Not a problem once I figured out what to do.

This means two things. I can't easily remove the center panel later and people with welded racks such at the Gobi may have to remove the rack to get the center panel back in place.

Introducing the OMS Starlink Mini Mount — Stay Connected, Even Off the Grid

We’re expanding the Overhead Mount System lineup with a new component: the OMS Starlink Mini Mount Kit. It mounts a Starlink Mini satellite dish up and out of the way, just under your hard top in the center of the roof — protected from the elements but still able to send and receive signal right through the top.

Same build quality as the rest of OMS: 1/8″ aluminum, CNC laser cut, precision brake-formed, and TIG welded in-house. It bolts straight to the OMS Crossmember, so if you’ve already got the Overhead Mount System installed, this is a simple addition. No new hardware to source, or brackets to fab, no extra holes to drill, just a simple bolt in addition.

The kit includes our 3D-printed Starlink Universal Locking Mount, which locks the dish to the bracket and has built-in provisions for wire routing and mounting a 12V–24V step-up converter if you want a cleaner power setup. Power it straight off the Bronco’s accessory USB-C port (100W/20V-5A PD-capable), or add the step-up converter for a more robust connection.

Assembly is bolt-together, same as every other OMS piece. Available in Raw Aluminum, Black Powder Coat, or Mica Armor Coat to match the rest of your system. $150–$165 depending on finish.

Note: this is an add-on, not a stand-alone product — it mounts to the OMS Crossmember, so you’ll need the base Overhead Mount System (or at least the Crossmember) first.
