After 3 years of ownership my Bronco got its first software update! (Power-Up 3.5.2)

I woke up this morning to a notification on the Ford app that my Bronco got a software update. It took me by surprise since It is a 2022 MY, purchased brand new in 2023 and I had never received a single update.

I troubleshooted this multiple times, tried everything. Automatic updates on, scheduled updates on. Connecting the Bronco to a strong WiFi connection at home every single night. Turned updates off and back on. Factory resetting the infotainment and pairing it again to my ford pass app.

even some folks here helped me looking into FDRS to see is there was a reason why I wasn’t getting software updates and they found no foul. Their assumption was that for some reason Ford update system had never pushed an update for my Bronco.

I had already accepted my fate and decided to one day pay a local technician with access to FDRS to install them manually for me.

I guess today is my lucky day. Update gods decided to bless me with a almost 4 years old update

Hopefully I’ll don’t have to wait 3 more years for 3.5.4

Funny...my 2024 is always updating, but my WiFi router's on other side of wall (inside home office).

Wow.....that's pretty damn old. 3.5.3 will finally bring you full-screen phone capability. When these OTA's were first rolled out in September of 2022, 3.5.3 and 3.5.4 usually came within a few days of 3.5.2, so hopefully that happens here, too.

I recieved a letter in the mail from ford on my 23 BB saying I received an update last week. My app is not showing any over the air update as they stated it would be. anyone else?
