2025 non b@o replacing oem sub with powered unit. Where exactly post sub amp am I tapping? What are the 4 wires running into the sub?

I am so frustrated and finding minimal information. I’m tapping the harness leading into the oem sub. I’ve tried the yellow and striped wire and run them mono into the pt300. I’m seeing a signal but zero sound. Am I tapping the wrong area? I can’t find specs for the green harness feeding the sub.

There are two voice coils on the factory subwoofer amplifier. Each with a positive and negative lead.

• Pin 1 - Voice Coil A +
• Pin 2 - Voice Coil A -
• Pin 3 - Voice Coil B +
• Pin 4 - Voice Coil B -

You tapped into pins 2 and 4. Should be 1/2 or 3/4. Take your pick.

(Also probably should have cut the other side of the connector so you could restore it back to the factory config if needed, but too late for that now.)

Thank you. Is there a reason why the other end of that harness has black, white and red? Also should I run both l/r speaker channels to 1/2?

What subwoofer/amp are you using?? In your original post you said "PT300" but I am totally unfamiliar with it.

As an example... with the Kicker 500.1 amp, the factory wires going to pin 1, 2, 3, 4 should be going to the following inputs on the amplifier itself.

Actually looks like it uses the exact same connector as the Kicker Key 500.1.

So you should just be able to use the diagram I created above and apply it your subwoofer input.

Make sure you set the input level to HI (speaker level).

Yup.

Your subwoofer has a two-channel input. The factory amplifier has a two-channel output.

Lines up perfectly.

Ok my issue now is I’m unsure of the correct wire numbering now that they’re off the harness. I have yellow, black/white and two blue/brown wires. I no longer know which went to which.
I’ve tried all possible combinations and I’m not getting the signal. Only a heartbeat type repeating sound.
