So I wanted to have the doors off but my dog fully secured. Ended up with a ruffwear 3 buckle harness and the Kong tether that attaches to the latch anchor points.

Works great and as you can see now everyone can enjoy no doors safely.

pick up a set of tubes and a little netting or plexiglass so they can stick theirs noses out adding side drool to the desert pinstripes ...

When I'm rolling no doors, I pop the rear glass up and put the pup in the back. I've thought about getting some sort of harness and short tether and clipping him to the middle seatbelt but I think he'd hate that. I'm sure that I'll experiment with that type of setup at some point.

I went with the SleepyPod harness - I still haven't ridden with them with the doors off, just the roof off and windows down.
