EZ-lift softtop strut assist is Gone

After a little under 3 1/2 yrs my @IAG Off-Road EZ-lift softtop assist for the 2021 Ford Bronco is completely flat. Both struts are totally useless. I was expecting to get at least 5 yrs out of them. Has anyone else experienced this failure? or is this just odd?

Dunno about your soft top assist, but I do know from having an assortment of many toppers on pickup trucks for decades. that getting 3 1/2 years out of a pair of lift struts for something opened frequently like a topper’s rear glass door before they go soft is pretty good.

Get the dimensions and NM rating for the struts and you can pick up generic replacements at any good auto parts store.

IAG support is he gold American Standard to which all vendors should strive to replicate. The short term cost is nothing compared to long term gains and attracting wallet share.

100%. After dealing with their customer service they will always the first place I look when I need something for my Bronco. I have their soft top assist and door bags and both are awesome products.
