The videos look pretty damn straightforward but I have never worked on cars myself so this will be a new experience for me. I have all the tools necessary exccept a liftt to execute the muffler delete but I am a little hesitant about it. Should I go for it or have it professionally installed? How long would this take me? I do not want to be outside in this vegas heat so I am kind of refraining from installing it today until the weather cools down a bit.

fwiw: its a single axle-back exhaust.

Good morning from South Florida. I installed the same exhaust on my 2.7 Badlands. I work on my truck mostly myself but by no means am I a mechanic. The hardest part to the install that I found was reconnecting the exhaust to the pipe. It seems the connector is also painted and just that extra layer made it frustrating and did not slip in like the install video shows (go figure).....maybe sand off the coating before reconnecting might make it easier. Other than that its pretty straightforward. Take your time to make sure its level and inserted all the in to be as flush with the rear bumper as possible. Good luck and It will sound great.

i recommend a hanger tool for the rubber bushings, but otherwise you should be in and out within an hour or so. PB blast the nuts now if you’re super cautious and let it penetrate the grime out.

I got these wheel ramps, they work great, should work well for this:

https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0117EESNC

Edit: Oops, looks unavailable, just look around at the options it suggests. Be aware of the weight it supports, the width and the amount of ramp. You might get some wheel chocks too, I got some from Harbor Freight.

This is a pretty fun kind of first mod for somebody getting into cars. However for longevity I highly recommend having a muffler shop install some type of high-flowing Muffler further up in front of the rear axle later on. This will sound pretty good from the driver's seat but won't sound great in all RPM ranges to everyone else on the outside.
