BFG Load C 315x70R17 on RTR +30 wheels Non Sas Badlands totally stock including non sas flares. No lift (yet)-crash bars out no rubbing. Still debating suspension changes or minor lift or leaving it alone. BFG 315s are 34.4 so not a true 35 but for my needs the tires are great for the Northeast's 4 seasons and on the beach. Have run BFGs forever-not saying they are the best at anything-just good all around tire. Bronco is a Daily Driver and for fun with my favorite co pilot below-wash out interior a plus-If I am going to load a bunch of gear and family, will be taking my Truck.

Stock Badlands with 1.5” wheel spacers and 315/70/17’s. We’ve had The fender deletes for a while. Without spacers, the tire is about 1/2” from the upper A-arm. I’ve got all the crash bars removed and haven’t wheeled it yet. It looks like there is plenty of clearance. I’ve got a set of Eibach lift springs I’m debating putting on. The only reason I would put them on is to get a bit more clearance under the front skid/diff.
Did you end up butting the lift springs on?

35x12.5 on Stock Badlands. Yes you can, but it is tight. The BL suspension is exactly the same as Squatch. They get (true) 35s on there because of 2 things: They leave the front and back crash bars off AND the BL wheel has a +55 offset. The Squatches fake beadlock is +30. That means it pokes out an inch from the backwall. This is HUGE as you can see in the pic, the 35x12.5 is 2 inches wider than the stock BL 285/70 tire. With the 12.5s there is only about an inch of clearance to the (silver) steering control arm . You get full range on the road, zero rub. But offroad that will be a problem. Especially with the steering control arm unlocked.

I see a lot of threads about people using 1 inch spacers, but I won't do that because even though Ford says the Bronco has lug-centric weight bearing, I see a little hub there that probably puts some pressure and torque to the hub as well. You see spacer kits on Amazon for less than 100.00 but do you really want to xfer that weight and torque away from the factory studs to some potmetal crap?

I think some time I will either try to find a tighter control arm or maybe a 1.5 inch leveling kit for the front.

For now I love the fully stock BL upgrade for less than $1k. (Sold the 285s for $600.

I have a 2 door Badlands, only mod is a 1.25” leveling kit (also have stock rims). will 35’s fit Without rubbing (from what I understand there shouldn’t be any rubbing as long as the crash bars are removed) If anyone has a non Sas / non lifted “stock“ 2 or 4 door Badlands with 35’s please post some pics. Thanks.

It’s not a problem at full flex with +30 offset 17x9 rims. Did a 900 mile trip with them yesterday, managed to get 19-19.5 mpg at 75-80 mph. I am running 315/70R17 BFG KO2's on the RTR tech 6 wheels.

Black Diamond no lift with 35s. Had to remove front and rear crash bars in the front wheel wells.

runs fine but tanked the gas mileage and acceleration/handling a bit.
Any spacers needed for those wheels? Also, what size tires specifically are those?

I’m about ready to pull the trigger on fifteen52 analogs at 0 offset with 35s. Looks i may give it a shot without a lift. I am also swapping out for the sasq flares for my Badlands non sas.

went from 19.5mpg to about 16mpg

can’t wait to change to lighter wheels and tires
That will help a bit but tire size is what's jacking your mileage . Gear ratio needs changed . Look at GPS mile an hour and speedometer difference .

Stock badlands. 1.5 inch spacers. 2/1 zone puck lift. Removed all crash bars. 37x12.5 on them with zero rub. If I could do it again I would have gone 1.25 inch spacers for a tad less poke.

You automatic or manual? If automatic you notice a difference in slower acceleration having the 4.46 gears? Since the sas has the 4.70. I have a non sas badlands also and like the 37s but didnt know how much different itll drive having the shorter gears

‘24 non sas Badlands, no mods, crash bars pulled - no rubbing. Tires measure 34.8x11.7” but the tread is a little narrow for an 11.5” wide tire, I believe this helps - KM3’s are narrow in the shoulder as well, some tires have a more square / wider shoulder, could be more prone to rubbing.
