Just wanted to put it out there in case it helps someone in the future, when I put these Baja Designs Squadron Pro lights on my Bronco everything was great.

Then I tried to angle them outside about 20-30 degrees as shown in the picture, instead of straight ahead. The result was what happened in the video. It took me awhile to figure out it was causing the really loud ringing/whistle because it only happened above about 75 mph, or if driving 60 but also into a big wind. Angling the lights back straight ahead made the noise go away. Luckily it's not too hard to spin aim them by hand if you want to put them to the outside for trails then back straight ahead for highway driving. They are on SPV Ditch Light brackets.

Hey,

You know the door edge rubber strip you add to the door, to protect bumps against other cars....

https://a.co/d/5rJzHXm

I added them to every other fin to eliminate my whistle from my light bar, no whistle...

Or try a slightly different angle.

I've never experienced whistling with any a-pillar lights on any of my vehicles. The only time i've had noise is from roof mounted lights.

Crazy. Love these lights. Same issue. RCI mounts, Baja Design Squadron Pro driving combo pattern, pointed straight. Insane piercing whistle. "Aeolian tone". Maybe the wind spilling off windshield across the fins sideways. Tried pointing out a bit still rings at 65, moved inboard just happened at higher speed 80. Going to try and adjust up and down angle today and see if that works. Cant find my rock guard covers so ordered new ones, be here Monday, might help. My friend had it on light bar he moved it back from windshield and tone went away. Anyone else have this know solution(s). I had these on my F150 A pillar mounts for years with no noise. Strange. Taking to BD and RCI about it too.
Oh, I see some other threads on this subject...

Edit: So its not from the base 2 brackets. Duct tape over top fins stopped the tone, "Vortex shedding" off back/top of fins? Working on final test and fix. JB weld?, door trim? ...
