Is this skid plate kit compatible with my Bronco?

I have a 2026 SAS with the Capable bumper. The OEM Ford “Bash Plate Kit" SKU: MB3Z5D032E notes that it fits the Modular Bumper (no reference that it fits the Capable)

Can anyone confirm if this is accurate?

I don't think it does, since they come down at different angles on the front (bash) plate. Aftermarket companies make ones compatible I believe with the other plates, like I think Asfir, RCI and SFR. Of course you might just go with a full plate kit with one of them, unless you want the Ford gas tank skid.

RCI is great and local to CO if you wanted to save a few bucks on shipping. They have ones that work with the capable bumper just fine, I have the full set on mine excluding the gas tank one sitting in the garage.

The OEM bash plate is the same for both the Capable and Mod bumper.

I just went through this with my 23 Outer Banks.
I bought the Ford factory kit, and had to cut the front plate to clear the front tow hooks.
If you do not have tow hooks, the Ford metal plate should mount fine, it'll just leave a small gap below the plastic bumper.

I'm now installing an Asfir transmission cover (I thought saving weight with Aluminum would make mounting easier)

Asfir offers a front plate to clear, but it is a 4 piece: https://www.asfir.com/products/ford-bronco-front-skid-plate-with-a-plastic-oem-front-bumper

I do not see a similar clearance on the RCI page, but I have not seen a RCI physically.

From factory I had the capable bumper with the full factory skid plate package (worked for me!)

Replaced front engine skid with 4WP from Amazon for $20. Much sturdier than factory

Transmission and cross member skids from RCI
