A part of me feels like this is Ford’s way of prepping its customers for the rumored luxury Lincoln version of the Bronco. Psychologically lay down the starting price of the Filson, that way when they eventually release the Lincoln version, the impact of sticker shock is “lessened”. But that’s just me
