I'm one year into my new-to-me 2022 Badlands Sasquatch. Original plan was to sell after the first summer and get the new model 4Runner TRD Pro when stock was normalized. After just a few weeks, this became my favorite vehicle ever owned including my Explorers, BMWs, and a Lincoln Aviator. I realize none of those are in the same class with the Bronco.

I run top the soft top spring through fall and hard top through the winter. Only complaint would be that the rear seats aren't that comfortable for longer road trips, but I'm never back there.

Now I spend my time wondering if I should have gotten a raptor from the start. :)

People say this, but I'm not sure I have ever owned a car that got better gas mileage than the Bronco.

A couple Mustangs were better on the Freeway, but worse in town.
We went from a V8 AWD explorer to a V-10 4Wd Excursion to a four-cylinder bronco. I’m tickled with the fuel mileage. Lol. Though our ‘15 Mustang with the same ecoboost engine gets 28 to 30 miles per gallon.. And it is a blast to drive also.

My Bronco is an absolute blast to drive.

50,000 miles with very minimal issues.

2.3 engine with manual transmission, lots of power and lots of fun.

I have the lowest trim available, the Base, and it is perfect for me. I don’t need all the expensive off-road gear that comes with the higher trims or Sasquatch package. I bought some takeoff wheels and tires here on this forum’s marketplace so everyone thinks my $29K Base is really a $65K Badlands.

Well. I'm five years into a 2021 Badlands. I just bought an F-150 Tremor to replace it. I really only have been getting after it twice a year and every place I go, my buds with Silverados and Tundras have made it through everything the Bronco made it through, sometimes with stacked rocks and a traction board but not much fuss. I am so over the packing tetris. When its just me and one kids its fine, but any more then that and I'm seriously compressed and storage to the point where I've had to switch nearly everything to backpacking class gear.

I will miss the Bronco, lots of memories and fun adventures. I wish I had the room to keep it but I do not. I went camping at the beach last weekend with the pickup and was done packing in like 15 minutes, didn't have to use a spare tire basket and rooftop storage boxes. It was glorious.

Also... the B&O sound system in the F-150 makes the Bronco's system look like a weather radio that's been knocked off a table a half dozen times and is held together with duct tape.

Also also... I have the Coyote 5.0L now, and I 100% understand why so many people here desperately want this engine in the Bronco.
I have one each, a 2023 Tremor with the 5.0 Coyote and a 2025 Badlands Sasquatch. If I could only keep one it would be the Tremor. Fortunately, I can keep both, but I agree with everything you said. Especially the tetris packing. But the Bronco is so much more fun to drive.
