I've searched the forum and looked at all the options on Amazon, but have not seen a good license plate mount for the modular bumper that won't decrease approach angle. My last vehicle, which was a low car with plastic bumper, I used a Stow n Show (https://stonsho.com/collections/bro...ronco-with-hd-modular-bumper-with-acc-sns289b) mount, but wanted something more permanent for the bronco. What are you using that I have not found yet? I do have ACC, so it needs to work with that. Note: I like the DV8 side mount the best so far, but I may install lights that would make it not work.

You can adjust it to be as high as you need.

It's expensive, mine is rusting, and you can find same design/ knockoff much cheaper, but it fits your need

https://www.ebay.com/itm/404414937038 which is https://www.amazon.com/Klutchtech-License-Modular-Compatible-Accessories/dp/B0BBLZ3P53 which is the builtright clone (no rivnuts like the others)

Trying to find one that doesn't block the fog lights.

Read the builtright comments, you adjust it, it's not a fixed mounting point.

Anyway, builtright was first to market with this type of mount, so I'll give them that

Other option - don't install a front plate. A Wisconsin buddy of mine hasn't used a front plate in 8 years with no issue. After installing a modular bumper clone, I'm 6 months into no front plate in Illinois. Maybe we'll eventually get a ticket ... or not.

The situation bugs me, in Illinois car guys have been working for years to get rid of the front plate requirement, only to be stymied by authoritarian rule and regulation types and timid officials.

Thanks for the replies. I've looked all the ones listed above but didn't love any of them. The only reason I need to have one is because a few parts of the city I live still have parking maids and they love to give out $75 dollar tickets. For now, I glued a couple strong magnets to my plate and just stick it on when I'm parked in these areas. Just have to remember to stick it where it covers a parking sensor so I don't forget to grab it.

Remove the front plate, they're unnecessary

Haven't run one in over a decade in 4 cars, only got 1 ticket, and that was the whole "I wanna let you off but got you flagged, so here's a slap on the wrist", $55 fine.

I'll second the Builtright mount. I've used that since the first year and it's been great.
