My wife and I are taking a trip to Silver Lake Dunes next week. We're not planning on doing anything crazy, but do plan on driving around the dunes. My '24 Black Diamond is pretty much stock (at least in terms of tires/suspension). What psi would you recommend running? I've seen suggestions everywhere from 12 to 20 psi. I don't want to risk losing a bead (no beadlocks), but I also don't want to get stuck.

Excited for your trip out there !
Personally. I ran 14 psi on the front and 10 on the rears last year. 12 would be fine I bet. Looks like you got a 2 door so even less weight then my 4 door (black diamond sas on stock 'mt' territory). You'll do great out there. Test hill can be a little sharp at some parts of the crest, especially at the right side in years past. Over by lake Michigan some of the little water pits can be DEEP for how small they look. There is a free air station a little farther up Fox road to the East when your all done duning.

Thanks, we are pretty excited too! Do you have beadlocks on your wheels? I'm slightly nervous about going down to 13 psi without beadlocks. I've seen some mixed messaging on whether it's a good idea or not. For what it's worth, I don't plan on doing anything crazy like donuts or high-speed turns.

Assuming flags are required there? Any suggestions as to what setup to run?

On my Silverado I used to have ko2s and ran around 10 in the rear as well. No beadlocks. No beadlocks on the bronco currently either. Air down tires just grip on the hills!! Can always start at 15 and let some more air out. I usually kept more psi on front because of engine and people weight. But I'm sure others have opinions. Here is a look at the tire budge on the stock territory 315's 14/10 psi front rear

Depends on what type of front bumper you have. I am used to standard tow hooks that stick out perpendicular to the grill. The Black diamond has these hen style and mounting my flag was a little more awkward.

We were there 3 weeks ago and had a great time. Run 15 pounds in your tires and you will be fine. The top of test hill was sharp from all the wind.
