I skip all extended warranties on everything. Looking at what "might" happen on one specific vehicle is the wrong way to analyze the true cost/value. Add up the cost of ALL extended warranties vs cost of out of warranty repairs on all vehicles over the years and you'll always come out ahead without.
The ironic thing is that only the people who can afford to foot a large repair bill out of pocket are able to catch these savings. Those who can’t must pay up front on the ESP.* And then hope and fight the dealer/manufacture will cover it. No thanks.
