Interesting. I like flashlights and have 2 original M12 brush tool which are not very good. Batteries are though.

I’d say it’s whatever a Milwaukee M12 battery costs. Could be wrong though.

Interesting idea. The switch is On/Off so only one power output level, right?

Have you tested how long a fully charged 1.5 Ah M12 battery will last IRL on a full charge? Thanks.
Yes, 1 power level: MAX!

With the standard M12 3.0ah batteries its at about 2 hours constant on runtime.

I ordered at the end of January. After emailing customer support , I was told I would not receive my order until May. Can I now hope to get it sooner?

Customer support is currently giving a bit of buffer time since we’re in the middle of CNY, and international shipping/port traffic can get unpredictable this time of year. We’re absolutely aiming for sooner than May if everything moves smoothly! We’ll update customers as soon as the flashlight is headed to you! 👏🏻

Mine arrived today. For the record, as I previously posted, I paid full price for a few of these for my guys at work, this isn't a promotional review, nor am I an influencer.

This is a slick little unit. My only gripe is the power button is kinda small - it keeps you from accidently turning it on, but it's got a nice raised lip around and you have to push it in pretty far to latch - my fat sausage fingers have a bit of trouble with it. Apart from that though, this is a nice flashlight.

My standard is a Thorfire BLF Q8 - which is a pretty overkill flashlight for most things, clocking in at around 5k lumens. Comparing this Oracle flashlight to the Thorfire (which is not entirely fair, given the Oracle is stated at around 2k lumens) - the Oracle has a much more focused pattern and will throw light further, but the Thorfire does put out almost an equivalent brightness, but over a much larger area. The Oracle is like a spot light, the Thorfire a flood light. That's not to dimenish the Oracle - it does throw a bit further, and it's a very bright and focused spot, which is nice for a flashlight.

I don't have any real life data on how long the various m12 batteries last beyond what Oracle says. The Thorfire will chew through Lithium 18650 charges in a hurry if you don't turn down the brightness -- which has a good deal of adjustment in brightness, but no pattern adjustment. The Oracle light only has, as far as I can tell so far - an on or off, there's no adjustment for pattern or brightness.

As such, I'd rate the Oracle pretty well. It's a substantial and well built flashlight, and due to it's very good focusing, punches above it's weight class in terms of light output. My only real ding would be the hard to push On/Off button, and it would have been nice if it had at least some adjustment in brightness - you don't always need the FULL POWER OF THE SUN just to find the car keys you dropped on the floor board, and it would save some battery life for when you do - but not a deal killer

We’ve been getting more feedback and real-world use clips from people lately and honestly it’s been cool seeing all the different ways everyone’s using them! Trail bags, recovery kits, camping setups, shop lights, etc.

Curious what the Bronco crowd would realistically use one for most:
  • trail repairs
  • camping/overlanding
  • emergency kit
  • garage/shop use
  • “because ridiculously bright flashlight”
Still probably one of the brightest things you can casually throw in a glovebox 😅
