We’ve got a new one going live today — the VEGA™ Series 2 LED Flashlight! This is true off-road LED power in handheld form. It puts out 2,000 raw lumens with a focused spot beam that throws close to 1,000 feet, all packed into a compact body that fits comfortably in your hand. It’s IP69K rated, built from powder-coated aluminum, and designed to survive real use.

What makes it especially cool is the flexibility. It runs on an M12 battery platform (sold separately), and if you already have VEGA components, you can grab just the flashlight base and convert a compatible VEGA pod into a handheld light. No proprietary batteries, no weird chargers — just swap and go. It’s perfect for trail-side fixes, night wheeling prep, spotting lines, camp use, or garage work when you need serious throw and clarity instead of a washed-out flood.

It’s available now for pre-order here if you want to check it out:

Curious where you’d use it... trail bag, glove box, shop, or all of the above?

Interesting idea. The switch is On/Off so only one power output level, right?

Have you tested how long a fully charged 1.5 Ah M12 battery will last IRL on a full charge? Thanks.

So unique, A flashlight.
You started a thread about BBQ transport and another asking about a fuse for the backup lights. Taking your valuable contributions to the forum into consideration, I absolutely respect your opinion and criticism of new options being brought into the market. Which flashlight should I buy based on your experience?

Plenty of options at your local hardware store.

This has attributes that make it unique AFAIK:
  1. I bring Milwaukee M12 tools with me when I head off-road, so having a flashlight that uses the same battery means one less device I have to keep charged.
  2. Milwaukee makes task lights using their M12 battery, but none of this brightness and focused for distance.

Oracle Lighting makes lights. So they made a flashlight. Seems logical.

It’s a flashlight. Nothing earth shattering
There’s a super cheap one I found that’s “incandescent.” That’s probably better then these new lights, right?
