I need a full roll cage to run the mammoth trail at AOAA don't want to have a custom cage fabricated.Nerd time: I build with carpentry, not metal, but the complete lack of triangulated weight dispersal makes me very suspicious of the efficacy of this structure. Check the strength of any structure squared off and then add in triangulated supports and the rigidity difference is extreme. Any lateral shift, which would be expected in a roll-over situation, and it's strength is greatly compromised. But it looks cool, might be good for storage and organization..... if it exists.
A lot of the images on the web site are photoshopped. I'd be skeptical of the whole brand.
That's cute. Definitely NOT a roll cage.
Fully agreed. To the earlier points in this thread, the linked "cage" would never pass the tech inspection.I haven't really looked at Mammoth again since they first opened it, but unless there have been major changes to tone it down, I really don't think any full body rigs have any business on that trail, It really calls for tube chassis buggies or heavily built cages welded to the frame.
