Any good looking wildtrak grill replacements?

I'll never understand why plastic + piano black is a thing anywhere on the exterior of any car...

I hate hate hate it on my wildtrak and looking for options. Of course you could risk getting called a poser and toss a raptor grill on it.

The rtr grill I think looks good, but if it's plastic... Seems like it's priced pretty high.

Curious if anyone here has moved from piano black grill that came on the wildtrak to something that looks better.

My beef is that it scratches easy and makes it a pita for cleaning when you have a million little holes you have to dry out super good.

I'd really like something metal, but it seems like nobody is doing anything like that (that I could find)

I think the best looking OEM grilles are the original Base & Black Diamond grille, or the new 60th anniversary grille. The 60th anniversary grille has a metal look, and is unique

It’s a multi-piece grille so it will cost more than others. Ford Authority gave the part number for a kit, but it doesn’t come up in ford.com/parts.

I’ve had the gloss black on my Wildtrak and the gloss black on my OBX.. just switched to the RTR grille. I like the look of it a lot better as it matches the MIC hard top, bumpers, and fenders. I’ll also say it just doesn’t seem as durable as the stock option due to the plastic. Overall I’m happy with it and like it loads better than my other two grilles.

I also think the anniversary grille looks best right now though.

RPM (plastic) grille (< $200), a couple cans of spray paint, and a 3d printer for the letters.

If you want a metal grille, ya gotta go back to 1966-1977

Even the '80's broncos had plastic grilles.

When I was looking, I recall seeing Wildtrak-style replacement grills that were matte black. Might be worth a google.

Yeah they’re definitely all plastic. Pretty expensive plastic at that. The RTR grille looks great but is routinely out of stock. And the new 60th looks awesome. They did release as someone mentioned that grille that comes primed and ready to paint, but when I looked it up to me it didn’t look the same as the 60th anniversary grille. I want that one real bad because it’s iconic silver, same as my BB.

That and a $200 RPM 'heritage' style grille. For less than $250 and an afternoon, you have your iconic silver grille. If you dont like it, could probably unload it in the classifieds for most of what you put into it. Cheap entertainment.

Because the design language is rather hardcore, some people will really love it, and some might absolutely hate it.
