2025 Badlands IAG Tailgate Compressor and DJI Fast Charger: What Should I Add While It’s Torn Apart?

Installing an @IAG Off-Road Tailgate Compressor in my in-laws’ 2025 Marsh Grey Badlands 4-door this weekend. Since the interior panels are already coming apart, I’m also adding a DJI fast charger while I’m in there.

Figured this would be the perfect time to future-proof a few things before buttoning everything back up. What are some “while you’re in there” upgrades or wiring ideas you wish you had done the first time?

Currently, in the back are Ford's slide-out drawer, a fridge on top of it, and a JCR tailgate table.

Adding a wire for a possible future chase light or rear floods isn't a bad idea, and keeps you from having to tear into it again in the future.

Rear view camera for a security cam is another popular one

If you are taking the side cargo panels out the subwoofer/audio is there and that is a very popular upgrade.

Do Not ground anything to the tailgate. Run your ground up to a proper chassis ground on the body (by the subwoofer is a good common point)

Going to be putting it on the Rear Passenger side rear cargo area. Haven't determined the exact location yet
