Possible to Retrofit 2025 Bronco B&O to a 2023 Non-B&O Bronco

I have a 2023 Bronco with the base audio system, and I've significantly struggled to make it sound the way I want it to. I've upgraded speakers, added an amp and sub, but it never sounds right. I was recently in a friend's 2025 with the B&O, and it sounded great to me. Realistically, it's the sound I want in my Bronco. I’m curious if it’s possible to convert or retrofit a 2023 bronco with the base audio to the newer 2025 B&O system. From what I’ve been reading, it sounds like the 2025 setup is pretty different from the earlier B&O systems, with updated speakers, amp/DSP, and different wiring/configuration altogether.

I did find this post where someone essentially converted their pre-2025 to the older B&O system so they could upgrade to the mObridge amp that requires the A2B protocol.

I think my biggest concern is the ACM wiring and FORScan changes. Looking at a wiring diagram for a 2025 B&O, the ACM appears to feed the kick panel speakers directly, in addition to them being fed from the DSP/AMP (which doesn't really make sense to me.). This doesn't appear to be the case with the pre-2025 B&O models when comparing the wiring diagrams. I've attached wiring diagrams for reference.

Has anyone successfully swapped in the factory 2025 B&O components into a non-B&O Bronco? I’m wondering what all would actually be required aside from the parts (ACM, wiring harnesses, DSP/AMP, sub enclosure, etc)

I’m not against aftermarket audio, but I’d really like to keep an OEM+ style setup if possible.

Any info, experience, or feedback would be appreciated.

Not worth it. The B&O system isn’t great and you’d be better off spending the money and time on aftermarket speakers and components

It's not that it's a no go, I just struggle with aftermarket upgrades. I feel like it never sounds the way I want it to. Even with the B&O conversion though, I'd be open to the mObridge DSP/AMP to further better the system. The problem is, this requires the A2B protocol, so at the very least, I'd have to upgrade the ACM to get this to work, which is the hard part of the conversion (regardless of if I keep the B&O components or get better ones).

Theoretically possible. But would require extensive work in just about every area.
APIM is also different on 2025 models and would need to be coded and vin matched
ACM is different too obviously.
You would also then need to completely rewire the car.

The best way and path of least resistance to getting proper audio in a <24 bronco base is to swap the ACM and put our amplifier in there. The new version of the amp will self code so forscan is not needed.

I can understand your hesitation and previous experience with aftermarket audio not sounding how you want it. I see so many Bronco audio kits from online retailers that make me reconsider the industry I am in. Im not going to name names, but if you sell a high level input 5 channel system you know who you are.

That will not be your experience with our product, there is not a single measurable area that the mObridge amp does not exceed the factory B&O amp, even the 25+ B&O amp by quite some margin.
More power, higher channel count, configurable DSP. If the system is tuned and good equipment(speakers, sub enclosure) is selected the system should make you smile everytime you listen to it. I cannot stress this enough that the tune is the most important part and can make or break a system - without a DSP tune the system is likely not going to sound much better than factory, sure it might be louder but it wont sound 'better'.
If this is something you have never done before we have an extensive dealer network that are capable of delivering such a tune. Alternatively if you stick to speakers we already have a tune for you will also be happy with the result!

TLDR - the amp we sell is the only A2B (digital input) amplifier on the market and is by far the best way to do a proper upgrade in a non-B&O bronco but it will require an ACM change. Satisfaction backed by 30 money back guarantee.

If you dont swap the ACM you are going to end up high level in which is the main reason the system will never quite sound right. You are going to grab a post amplified signal and then reprocess and reampliy = distorsion and non-linearaity.

you're saying to upgrade the ACM to a pre-2025 ACM with A2B, and then go with the mObridge DSP/AMP? I'm not opposed to this. Out of curiosity, what speakers do you have tunes available for?
