how much trouble for battery warranty ?

'23 Bronco, tendered for as long as I've owned it, now charger is reporting the factory's battery is sulfated, 2 years and 15k miles.

How much trouble will it be to get warranty replacement? Will dealership replace because it tests bad?

I suppose resetting the battery-life monitor favors the "free" dealership replacement instead of DIY.

Dealership will use their own tester to determine if the battery is bad. If it fails, and it’s still covered, they will replace it.

Yeah, not hard. Just may take a few attempts, it's a bit finicky with the timing.
