Hi All,

As i am sure anyone who has a non B&O Bronco knows, the audio sucks and its a pain to get to sound as it should.

The reason for this is that the factory head unit drives all speakers except for your subwoofer. To upgrade your audio you had to get your signal from the headunit post amplified and processed outputs (awful signal). The subwoofer amplifier gets its signal from a digital audio bus (A2B) because of this you cant remove it... (25+ models only)

Until now!

The ZEN F25 now allows you to remove the factory amplifier and get a pure unadulterated signal! The ZEN converts this signal and outputs it via TOSLINK or RCAS.

The cool part is you can keep the factory head unit powering speakers and DSP the signal from inside the ZEN if you want! Best of both worlds.

This pre-amp is the only way to do a full system upgrade in a non-B&O Bronco properly. If you do it any other way you are simply not getting the most out of your system signal is the most important part of any audio system.

Fraser (yes, mObridge Fraser). Also yes there is a amp package for the non B&O bronco (2025+) coming soon.

Let me know if you have any questions!

For my 25 B&O system, what benefit, if any, would this give me over the cheaper PAC Amp Pro AP4 FD32?

In your application the only advantage would be the difference in audio quality, there is a measurable difference on both optical and RCA. There is a reason SQ competitors all use Zen! Zen pre-amps are built with audiophile grade components.
So it really depends on your build and budget, if you are doing a lower end system I can understand the appeal of a cheaper pre-amp.

In any other application except the 25+ Bronco you do also pick up the additional ACM channel features. This allows you to retain and control the channels running off the headunit. Which means as a total system the Zen typically comes out cheaper too. Not in your case though.

To clarify for other people reading this later, the Zen is the only pre-amp that is compatible with the non-b&o broncos.

Who measured this? I’ve yet to see anything official. Opinion?

The part numbers of the audio components used in the units. Entry level DACs vs top end. Same goes with the CPU

Zen DACs are provide higher SNR and lower distortion. All of these figures are provided in the datasheets from TI

That seems like a foreign language to me
