I put 50k miles on a set of MIckey 35x12.5r17 on non-SAS m190 CVs and standard OEM tie rods. Now at 60k, with about 5k miles on a set of 38x11.5r17 Nittos
I did lose one CV. It was because I ran over a limb in the mud and tore the boot off.

Went with 35x12.5 r17.
Only 30 miles or so on them so far, so I can't give em a full review, but they look beefy.

I don’t have a breadth of experience with AT tires but can tell you what I see
Around these forums, and with Broncos I see on the trail (that are not still running factory tires) - the Baja Boss AT is very highly regarded. The only real bad thing anyone says about it is it’s on the heavy side - but an excellent tire by all other marks. This is the tire you see on most sponsored rigs and such.
The most popular tire I see is the KO2 - far and away. On both off roaders, trucks, and even some overlanding and CUVs. KO2 you either love or hate - it’s an older tire but not a lot of gray area on that one.
There is a new KO3 - but sizes are extremely limited as they roll out the new design.
Falken Wildpeaks are in second place - again, on a lot of various vehicles - not just off roaders. Similar to Baja Boss, its a bit on thr heavy side but by all other accounts a great tire with very good longevity.
Third place goes to everything else - not sure you will really go wrong with any reputable name brand, and a lot of folks around here are having good luck with some second tier brands as well.
I just put MT Baja Boss AT 255/85 17 on my base. 64-65bs. I love them so far. Huge ride difference, though, going from the 29" Duelers to the E rated tire. Will get one for the spare when it's rotation time.

I have a outerbanks sas. How does the spare tire carrier handel the extra weight of the 35 12.50 Baha boss tires? I run these tires on my f150 and have had really good luck with them, so I would like to install a set on my wife's Bronco. My only concern is the extra weight on the bronco spare tire carrier.
My research has the 35” Baja Boss weighing in at 21 lbs heavier than the GY SAS stock tire (73 vs 52 lbs). Which is a bit crazy. I’m running Everglades wheels, which are also heavy (38 lbs) so I could save some weight with a lighter wheel, but not 21 lbs. I’d def consider reinforcing the spare carrier with 100lbs up there.

The stock carrier and tailgate are rated for 133 lbs, That’s spare tire and anything else you may want to hang off the tailgate - like rotopax carriers, interior shelves, cargo carriers, etc.
The tailgate itself is the weak link - its aluminum and not internally reinforced terribly well. I’ve never heard of the carrier itself or the steel hinges failing - but there are more than one tailgate that has got warped (including my own).

Fingers crossed as I just had the Baja Boss A/T’s installed this morning. Replaced some BFG KO2’s with about 67k on them. Hopefully better in the rain as the BFG’s were
in the rain/wet roads.
What’s you final tire + wheel weight?

Not sure but the tire itself is 73 LBS. The BFG’s were around 64 LBS.
