Hey all,
A rock (or something) broke the lens of the mirror turn signal (pass side) of my wife's 2023 Bronco Raptor. Being the good husband I ordered what is listed as the replacement for it and went to re/re this morning. Through the process i saw an updated part# and assumed maybe the lens was beefier. Upon receiving the box (part# M2DZ-13B375-A) I looked at the part and quickly summized that the actual light element (inside) looked a different from muscle memory and also noticed that the part# on the actual light was M2DB-13B381-AB..... structurally etc it looked like an exact fit other than differing part #'s..... this morning I got the mirror cap off and realized that the electrical connection point (connector covered by a rubber boot) was much smaller than the OEM and once removed the OEM has 3 pins where the replacement part has only 2. The connector won't fit, the rubber boot won't fit, and I cannot find any reference to any of this online other than Ford stating that M2DZ-13B375-A is the part#. This is incorrect that I can find. I know some of you have replaced the turn signals with aftermarket and splicing would obviously work there if need be but this is supposed to be an OEM replacement for OEM. Any/all help is greatly appreciated and I do have a note into my Ford dealer and FordOEMpartsonline.

Cheers all!

M2DB-13B381-AB is an engineering number, not a service part number. M2DZ-13B375-A is the corresponding service part number.

N2DV-13B381-AA is also an engineering number. The corresponding service part number for that is N2DZ-13B375-A

I’m not sure where you’re looking up part numbers, but online 3rd party wholesale websites like FordOEMpartsonline are always inaccurate.

The best place to look up parts is Ford’s actual website: https://www.ford.com/parts

Not sure what to say... on both Ford and OEMpartsonline when you search 2023 Bronco Raptor and get through to mirrors, item 10, turn signal assembly there is only one... and that one does not fit nor match what is on the truck.

Ford’s website lists N2DZ-13B375-A as the correct part number. You’re saying that doesn’t fit?

You are comparing the original part from the Raptor (top photo) to the new part you purchased (bottom photo) correct?

Those are different parts — the correct top part is marked with the engineering part number prefix N2DV- which indicates the part is from the 2022 model year. The bottom part you purchased is marked with prefix M2DB- which is a 2021 model year part number.

The part you need is engineering part number N2DV-13B381-AA as marked on your original part. To order that exact part, you need to use the corresponding service part number that the service parts department uses which @Ducati1098 gave you as N2DZ-13B375-A. The OEMpartsonline information is wrong.

Wow. Thanks for the info. Clearly Ford has 2 different items (right off of Ford.com, not OEMpartsblahblah) that show fit this 2023 truck of course with vastly different prices ($171 - $226). Depends what you search "Turn signal assembly", "lamp", "mirror turn signal lamp". Searched every which way but loose, went in under my profile etc. Here i was thinking GM was the only pain in the butt these days. Thanks again all!

Yeah, the websites seem to be failing to filter for the Raptor-specific part for this when you drill down.

The cheaper non-Raptor Bronco mirror lamp only has one function: spot light. So the electrical connector only has 2 pins: for ground and power connection to the spot LEDs.

The Raptor’s mirror lamp has 2 functions: spot light and clearance lights (at the end of the lamp there is a small red LED facing backwards and a small amber LED facing forward). So it has a larger electrical connector with 3 pins:
  • ground,
  • power to spot LEDs
  • power to clearance LEDs
Spot lights operate by the dedicated buttons on the headlamps switch, The clearance lights turn on automatically with the park lights. There’s actually no turn signal function at all in either of these lamps.
