Installing these Wednesday to replace my 315/70r17 C2 KO2s (only 18K miles with the last 8K being wobbly balancing battle and 2 credited for excessive road force above 65lbs). Going with 35"X12.5"X17" D2. Confident the performance will be great. Weight increase looks minimal from spec sheets (63.7lb for KO2 vs 69lb for BB).

I run the lower load SL Baja Boss so cant speak to the heavier versisions, but my tire guy said they balanced about as easily as possible for an AT tire and they've behaved great in both the wet and dry, we'll see about snow this winter.
Thinking about putting these tires on my BL. How have they held up for you? Any other feedback? Thanks, TomC.

I have the SL on my Big Bend. They are awesome. Totally changed the look of my Bronco. Haven't had a chance to test them off pavement yet but so far they are great on road. Road noise is a bit more than the factory duelers but nothing excessive.

Run 285/70-17 SL on my BD...MT Tech said purchase tire certificates instead of the E-rated version. Great on road dry or wet. Very predictable as you reach cornering limits. I can't speak for snow, as in winter I've been switching back to my stock Grabbers as these are the best non-dedicated winter tires I've ever experienced for dry snow or wet snow. (The Grabbers will be replaced by winter tires once they wear out, maybe 265-70-18's on cheap Outer Banks rims, I prefer a narrower tire for winter.) Extremely good for general off-road. In mud you have to feed in some occasional wheel spin to keep them clean. I've never been in deep mud, just a couple inches of the stuff on otherwise hard ground. They air down well.

They hold up great. Seen everything in 1 year New England seasons, no issues in any condition. Only caveat so far is they really want to be rotated fairly often, I’ve done a five tire rotations @ 4k miles.

My 35"X12.5"X17" D2 are doing great after 5k miles! Verus my previous KO2s:
Pros: Easily 50% more wet traction (not scientific), picks up less gravel size stones, and sturdier.
Cons: Heavy (10-speed handles fine). Required significant weight to balance. Harsh ride unless you drop an additional 2-3 psi. Tends to get tiny pebbles stuck in sipes.

Everyone still happy with their decision?

After all the durability issues I’ve had with my OEM Goodyear Territory tires, I’ve decided to go with the Baja Boss A/Ts as well, 35x12.50R17 load rating D.

I had them on my old Tahoe before I sold it and jumped into my Bronco. I miss them and can’t wait to wear out these stock tires so I can swap back.

I have the Mickey Thompson Mts they are a great tire. Very quiet for mud terrain and worked great off-road and a little taller than the stock tires. I did notice 2mpg less however than the stock SAS. Mine are true 35s.

I can add a winter review now...my stock Grabbers now live on my JK Rubicon as it came with old BFG MT's that had good tread but were very hard and old.

They MT's are very good in winter, in some respect better than the Generals (namely in slushy snow) and in some respects worse (light dry snow). Neither are as good as the Hakkapeliitta's I scored for the JK.

My only complaint is I would like a 285/75-17 in a C load rating and it doesn't exist, but they are so good the tires available in that size lack appeal either due to weight or tread pattern.

I am considering the MT Baja boss tires. I dont off road as much id like to but hope the change that this summer. Any issues with balancing or alignment? I read other reviews this has been a problem. Also does anyone have feedback on highway driving? Is it smooth? I have to drive to airport sometimes which is why i ask.

Last I am considering discount tire to buy and install.

They do require some weight to balance. Very smooth at speed. I recommend over KO2 or similar.
