That area could be painted or coated with bedliner. All in black of course. That would hide it better and then it may not need to be cut.
Some of us want it cut for more tire clearance....and the upper portion of this flair may cover up the ugly cuts....and it would get rid of the round ugliness underneath..a win win.

Color matched and painted. My install was not easy and had a lot of fit issues. I would not do it again.

Just wondering.. on a stock SAS suspension, If you put these flares on and cut the rounded inside fender, would that allow you to shorten the SAS bump stops and have badlands wheel travel with the stock SAS wheels and tires?

Not sure where the wheel contacts when fully stuffed..

Didn't ford market the fenders are super easy to unbolt and swap out? (Or was that just the front?)

Could always just buy heritage fenders and flares for the streets and throw on the ugly round fenders for weekends on the trails.
The rear quarter panels are indeed bolted on like the front fenders. So swapping them to the heritage parts should be easy enough.

yes...SAS can exceed 12 inch travel with shaved bumps

From your excellent thread on the subject I was thinking there was probably some other mods needed so tires don't contact? but maybe I got that wrong..

These look like a 2" lift basically but need a brave soul to cut out the roundy

A local Bronco has them painted but left the rounded part black.

I’m in the minority probably but I love your bronco with the OEM fenders better. I honestly think you have one of the sweetest looking Big Bends out there. I love those stock wheels and the tires you have. When you first posted up the picture with the new tires I snagged a copy for future reference.

If I ever get my SAS BB I’m going to mimic what you’ve done in a way, getting BB wheels and some tall skinny 34s and non SAS flares.

Could someone post the written, factory instructions on how these particular fenders go on the Bronc? I'd love to see the diagrams and schematics. Want to see how complicated a chore this may be. Love the look.

man, i wish @Bestop_Team would make a version for the Heritage/everglade model (Redundant, maybe, small market, sure, but one could hope), or anyone.
I enjoy the Heritage Fenders but I think the factory fender flares are too thin, I believe a version with more fender coverage like these would look good. Unfortunately the heritage/everglade aftermarket fender flare selection is literally nonexistent
