Ford should send their engineers to a class on electrical and software for a refresher. And require them to pass. Fords audio and Sync reliability is horrendous.

Assuming you are talking about the recall below: No, this OTA will not address that. For now, Ford has just filed the recall with the NHTSA as of a few weeks ago, so I highly doubt the firmware to address this is ready. I doubt this will be ready for a few months. Thanks for the info... good to know. @rugedraw Do you know if the future updates indicate what they address? I know that Ford issued a Recall that is to be fixed over the air for the instrument cluster going blank, so I am wondering if this might be the reason and other fixes might come with it.
Yup. That (25V788) was the one that I was questioning. Thanks again for the info. Annoying waiting this long for a known issue. That being said, I haven’t seen this happen in car recently. More than likely because of the tilt of the earth and XM sat.Assuming you are talking about the recall below: No, this OTA will not address that. Also, I mentioned earlier that you should get the OTA to address this shortly after the one you just got, but that is wrong. The OTA people have been getting after the one you just got is for the APIM and the update this thread is about is for the ACM. There is no correlation between the OTA you just got and the ACM one. It may be a while before you see the ACM update sent to you.
Some people on the Bronco Sport forum posted they had appts made to address this already, so maybe I was wrong on terms of how long the fix was going to take.Yup. I went in for something else and asked... If I recall correctly... now Q3. I am not going to be a happy camper if it gets pushed again. I had my first bronco and waited for them to fix an issue. I bet it is still waiting to be addressed. My 2025 just started doing this 4 days ago. Sounds like no fix yet.
It has calmed down quite a bit recently for me also. Not gone. When it happened last time it was every minute.Mine hasn't done it in a few months. They did do updates the last time it was in, so that could have fixed it.
My Oct 2025 delivery Job 2 Badlands just started doing this as wellMy 2025 just started doing this 4 days ago. Sounds like no fix yet.
Hi All, Does anyone know what this issue might be? Module, some setting or a button/knob that I don't know about? This is on my new 25 Heritage.
Happens enough to be really super annoying. Does not matter what the source audio is.
On the screen pops up phones volume adjusting. The really weird thing is ... there is no phone connected. No phone connected via bluetooth OR CarPlay. It was driving me nuts so I fully removed the phone thinking that was the issue... and it still happens. PIC of no phone connected and video of issue. If this issue didn't mute the audio, I would not care. I have tried to reset sync4 and that did not solve the issue.

Started up the day after you posted. I think the audio control unit has access to this site and is monitoring this thread just to mess with us.Mine started up again about two weeks ago. Less when I run Android Auto, but still happening. Glad to hear they recognize it, and are working on it.
