Planning on doing this sub install myself this weekend. I don't have an adapter harness for the stereo head so I'm planning on just dropping in this LOC into the speaker wires.

What is an easy place to tap into the speaker wires for this thing? I've heard kick panels and i've also heard the rear cargo panel on the driver side. The sub and amp will be in the back cargo area.

Also does it matter if i route my power wire along the driver side trim with the other wiring or should I keep them separated?

Kick panels.

The rear passenger-side cargo panel is an excellent place to tap in your subwoofer if you had a 2023 or later. 2023+ have a factory subwoofer, and the subwoofer wiring runs to that panel.

But that wiring doesn't exist on 2021-2022, so... kick panel speakers.

Doesn't matter.

Does this apply if you have a 23 non b&0 that doesn’t actually have a subwoofer from factory?
and ive never used an LOC but is there a diagram of how to tap in to what wires in the rear sub area?

On 2023s, the wiring is there even if you don't have a subwoofer. But it is not turned on unless you have a subwoofer installed.

So two options:

1. Steal from the kick panels like 2021-2022 owners need to do.
2. Turn on the subwoofer output via software (ie. Forscan) and connect your subwoofer there.

Personally I'd do option 2. Full wiring diagrams are here:

Standard practice is to separate power wire from speaker wires....
