.... or just avoiding annoying customers who had the audacity to buy their vehicles and then expect truth and transparency.hope this means they are updating![]()
My update was done today and I only knew because I received a survey asking me how my experience was. Due to home renovations, I had not driven the Bronco in 2-3 days, so I would not have known. But I just checked the settings on my Infotainment unit for SW Updates and it matches the Ford app and the email I received. Guess I can stop driving in circles now and use Reverse again.they are doing the updates tomorrow morning and will hear the official news a bit before lunch lets see if this update takes!

From my POV, it looks like my update occurred today as an OTA update since it is no longer listed as having any recalls. I did call the dealer and talked with the service manager and they did not see anything on their side so I was unable to schedule delivery. A little annoying, but there is really no reason for him to delay the delivery process. Perhaps there is a database that needs to get updated on the Ford side that then gets pushed down to dealers. I am not really sure, just guessing and really trying to be patient. Hopefully good news tomorrow and I can get on the schedule. From the Ford Recall site, it looks like I no longer have a recall. I am hoping the OTA went through.
They should be able to tell by looking at the OTA history. It usually updates pretty quickly on there. From my POV, it looks like my update occurred today as an OTA update since it is no longer listed as having any recalls. If the dealer is still holding the vehicle in pre-delivery status, they can easily check for SW Updates in Settings, if they were so motivated to release the vehicle to make the customer happy and make room for new inventory. They should be able to tell by looking at the OTA history. Glad yours is showing... mine's notMine is showing cleared on the ford website as of this morning. So hopefully that is a good sine and not just ford website maintenance lol.
I assume that's on your phone app, right? I don't know how to find "my shortcuts" or even find a screen with the three bars to select from. What do I need to know? There it is guys![]()
