Hmmm…..paint…..? Why not powder coated? Considering their function powder coat would endure their use.

I would assume that color matching exactly to be difficult, but i agree that powder would be more durable.

There are definitely some advantages and disadvantages to powdercoating. It would be a more durable finish, however, powdercoating can still be damaged during a tow, especially if chains/metal are used to hook it.

The paint makes for an identical (or near) color matching to the OE paint and still carries some durability. During a tow/recovery, if you use a strap, rope, or some sort of a protective covering on the hook itself, the paint should remained unharmed.

We are currently only setup for paint matching at this time, but we will definitely be looking into powdercoating in the near future!

Real answer: tow hooks are just decorative on 98% of Broncos so who cares. Wear whatever earrings best match your skirt.
