I really want the amber sig lighting, my 25 BD doesn't have signature lights.

Was going to get morimoto rgb or form or alpharex just to be able to use amber. Yes the other colors would be "cool" to use sometimes.

Question is OEM Braptor or aftermarket? Are the OEM Braptor as bad as my LED headlights? That was also a possible reason to go after market. My sales guy said he's seen broncos come in with damage caused by some aftermarket ones, he said morimoto seems to be the best quality.

TIA

All aftermarket headlights are much brighter than OEM ones. The Braptor lights won’t make much of a difference over the non-signature factory lights as far as brightness.

However, there’s a trade off. The quality of aftermarket lights typically aren’t as good as OEM lights. I’ve never seen them cause damage to a vehicle, but sometimes they have LED issues. Some have issues, some don’t.

I had Morimoto’s which had an issue, so I went a different route.

That being said, I have a set of Morimoto’s brand new in the box. If you’re interested, feel free to PM me and I’ll make you a good deal.

Definitely don’t go Alpharex. I had to send them back twice because of the DRL malfunction right out of the box, both times, same side headlight too. Also, the Alpharex are not bright like the OEM Amber DRL, that’s another thing I didn’t like about them. I eventually switched to the Morimoto’s and are night and day on brightness. They match the OEM Amber DRL brightness. I’m really happy with my Morimoto’s.

Thanks for the responses, I think I'm going to go with some Braptor takeoffs. It would have been nice to get brighter headlights but I do not want to deal with LED problems many have had.

My Alpharex Nova lights have been trouble-free since 2024. I like the four projectors design.

I'd actually recommend the Form Lighting: https://www.4x4truckleds.com/form-lighting-2021-ford-bronco-led-projector-headlights-pair/

The OEM Bronco Raptor are basically the same as the regular Broncos... only with an amber DRL.

Our Oculus headlights are another solid option to look at. They give you that amber signature look or full RGB options, so you can stay a bit more OEM+ depending on what you’re going for. We also offer a heated lens version, which can be nice if you deal with snow/ice at all (something a lot of people don’t think about until it’s a problem).

The issue is dropping $1500 for lights that may not last. Too many stories of issues and returns. I live in Hawaii and returning and dealing with that is a PIA. These aftermarket manufacturers need better testing and QC. IMHO. Hence why I’m looking at Braptor lights as my next purchase as well. Fire and forget. Paired with good BD fogs and you are setup!!
