How deep is your garage? Looks like a close fit for the 2DR.

Garage is so small, I have been thinking about shortening the crank handle to give it a bit of extra room. Plus when the the crank is pushing on the wall a bit, it pushes the whole mechanism a few degrees exaggerating the slope in the top.

Our garage is ~21'x21' but we have shelving and/or tools on each wall. I have the handle tucked into the shelving. Shortening it would be smart too with the way your is pushed on the wall.

This lift is pretty sweet.

Have you guys ever though developing some kind of adapter for those of us that own a cherry picker? I'd go for something like that in a heartbeat as it would be one less thing occupying my shop floor space. Just food for thought....

I like the idea of the door cart folding up when not in use. However, did you find with that design that the cart wants to tip over when putting the first door on the cart (with no counterweight on the other side)?

Not at all… the front door portion of the cart is longer and has an extra castor underneath it to account for the extra weight of the front doors

It’s really well designed and works perfectly for just two doors at a time

The tiny folded size was a major benefit!

Using a garage hoist is out of the picture for me, so I have been searching for a two-door compatible lift like this for months. Also, really like how this one folds up when not in use. Just purchased the two door lift. Hoping the backorder doesn't take too long.

My 4 door lifter only took a few days to arrive. I know you have a 2 door but the 4 door option will work with the 2 door (it's adjustable via a sliding mechanism) just in case you needed it sooner
