Just curious what everyone is using for a rear tray/basket /shelf in your 2 door Bronco.

Here 's mine. Its' an American Adventure Lab prototype that I've been running for the last couple of months. The thing that's unique about this is that it doesn't kill the use of the back seats. You can use it with your seats up, or fold your seats down and expand it for more room. The expansion almost doubles the size of the shelf.
The performance is great! I went on an EXO Baja run in September and it helped me handle what you see in the picture plus extra room in the rear seat area. Everything is strapped down to the shelf and the AAL floor system. It also serves a a great mounting location for my fire extinguisher and Apex mini reel.
AAL is telling me that they plan to make it available sometime in November.

Is this thing still in beta testing? I may want to get on of these.

Here is my rack from JCR. I like that it mounts without any additional racking required, it is required on the more door. A couple dislikes are that it does get bouncy depending on the speed I'm driving and terrain plus it makes it slightly annoying to open my 12 fridge. I have to pull it out slightly to be able to get into it. I plan on getting a 50% seat delete and a fridge slide so long term it won't bother me.

I repurposed the JCR rack from the spare tire setup. It work perfect for holding gear, and is the ideal height for putting a Yeti 45 cooler under

I was thinking about purchasing the rear tire carrier at some point potentially. Is there any reason you did away with that?

The hardware supplied for assembly was a mixed grade and the nuts completely seized/corroded/rusted tight. Because of this, the feet that grab the tire lost adjustability and the whole assembly had to be cut apart.

A side note: Rotopax don’t fit the basket on “smaller” 33” tires. I machined up a spacer to offset the Rotopax 2” to fit the basket. I primarily needed the extra fuel that a pair of 2Gal Roto’s provided and changed out to a simpler EZ Tire strap.

The basket was nice to carry firewood, shovels and trax for winter though.

I made one from Hooke Road overhead panels to cover the cargo area. This provides a shelf and zero loss of visibility out the back with no cargo on top and with the MIC top off provides a “semi-secure” cargo area in conjunction with the window molle panels. Made some aluminum brackets to attach the long panels. Wil not handle heavy loads, but will handle some recovery gear. I made it mainly to protect the back from snatch-n-grabbers.

Is this one different than what's on their website currently?

Bouncy? How do you like it with the diagonal cutouts and not the grid pattern?

When I have the shelf full and weighed down it bounces slightly depending on the terrain and speed. The slots don't matter to me necessarily as I have my fridge underneath when traveling. I have an axe mounted to the front most of the time. It's fine to strap items down.

I like it…works for me. I do want to put some quick remove bolts in for those times I pack it with large items.
