I definitely plan to attend an Off Roadeo. I live in Florida but am thinking about trying to head to Moab. Though I am happily married, my wife has ZERO interest in attending an Off Roadeo. I'm probably going to do it alone.

To those who have attended at least one Off Roadeo, would I stick out as one of the few solo attendees, or are these events mostly attended by primary Bronco owners instead of couples? Do you have a preffered location that's not too crowded?

I went to TN on May 2. Most of the attendees were couples. I took an old Army buddy. There was a nice lady who showed up solo though in my group (three groups of ~6 broncos that day). She might have gotten the best learning experience, because the instructor rode with her and got to share tips and knowledge in between obstacles.

TN was nice. I highly recommend it if you decide against Moab.

Huge fan of the Bronco Off-Roadeo in Moab. The scenery alone was worth the price of admission. Food good and trail instruction was top-notch. Alone or in a couple, you will have a blast. Try and take a family member or a buddy so you don't miss out on cool photo opportunities.

I attended Off-Roadeo in Vegas alone. I was the only one without a partner, but I got to drive all day and had the instructor with me the whole time giving me tips! As a novice offroader it was perfect for me. My wife didn't want to pay the extra to attend.

I upgraded my Bronco recently, so I'm looking to attend Moab Off-Roadeo this summer

Get her to go along by going to the one in Las Vegas because well Vegas. If you get her hooked you get to go wheeling together and she might start planning the trips, and buying stuff for the Bronco.

No you will not stand out by being a solo in fact you might get to ride with the guide.

Moab is a cool place but unless you drive your Bronco there you are going to hate that you don't have your Bronco to go do other trails and spend an extra week there, I have been to Moab twice in 6 months and still havent got to do everything I want. Texas is not a bad location it is not Moab but you are not tempted by hundreds of trails nearby, other than HF but you go there a half dozen times and I have no want to go back. Give me Merus or Moab

Exactly my experience. I had a bit of 4WD experience going in so the instructor had me apply many of the tips for the others to follow. My wife hates 4WDing so I get some quiet alone time.....

She’s married to a RHH guy. Do whatever you want.

Unless SHE is into RHH too. Then you should bring her.
She likes some of the Rev's music...but not much. I need to bring her to a live show - then she'll get it! 😎

I decided to go to Moab without the wife for the off roadeo. I had a friend who also bought a Bronco, so we went to the same one. The wife likes scenic gravel roads, but I don't think the pace of the off roadeo would hav been something she would enjoy. A lot of stopping, discussing vehicle features and strategy/safety while off road.

Bonus, since I didn't have a passenger with me, I got to bring the coach/spotter with me (Jamie). He was a blast to have along! Talking about off roading, Suggesting tougher lines, coaching me on technique (brake dragging). My buddy rode alone and had a blast too, so you really can't go wrong.

The venue is beautiful, but about 20min outside of town. We rented a *Jeep* and stayed at a VRBO in town. There's lots to explore and enjoy even outside of 4x4ing. April of 23 was my first time to Moab. I've now been there 3x and know I'll be back for sure!

Took the wife to Moab. She’s not into off roading but likes hiking and outdoorsy stuff. She had a great time. Neither of us had ever been to Utah and probably would never had seen it otherwise. We also went hiking in Zion National park.

Highly recommended either way.

I think you'll have a great experience either way. I did Tennessee in February with my wife and she had a good time even though she's not really into off roading. If you're gonna go alone I'd probably do Moab. Tennessee was awesome but I don't think it could hold a candle to something like Moab. I'm in north Georgia so TN was a no brainer for me - about a four hour drive.

I took my son, wife didn’t want to go.

But no, going solo wouldn’t have stuck out. We have two Family of 4 groups, one couple, two with just a child (myself included), and two solo drivers in my batch at Moab a bit over a year ago

My wife would have enjoyed just tagging along to take pictures if I could have got her to come though - she regretted not coming afterwards. For a rider it’s more akin to a nature safari than an Offroad madhouse. The trails at Moab are gorgeous and the obstacles spaced so it doesn’t distract from the view, and not so extreme that the passenger will be white knuckled the entire ride

I went solo to the texas off-roadeo. my wife was totally uninterested, but also our kids are too young to ride a long. I was the lead car and the head guide rode with me. Super cool guy who owned a few vintage broncos. I knew nothing about off roading and picked his brain the whole day was a great experience. I learned a ton.
