Did you get the factory hitch installed? If you did, I would like to know if the trailer light check feature was added to your screen? I had the factory hitch installed at the dealer last fall and the feature was not added. The installer had no idea what I was talking about. It's supposed to be there as my brother had his hitch done at the factory before Ford made it a dealer install option. It can be enabled in Forscan but I won't be screwing with that until the warranty expires unless i can convince the dealrship to investigate further and they enable it. Thanks.
Hey! I am still. Still waiting (ordered Mar 6th from fordmotorparts.com ) I have not received it yet. However. I looked up my FordPass and I could have used my points to help pay for it BUT the transaction mandated a $196 service fee and I’ve read here that some dealerships don’t accept that prepaid labor!) sooo. I ordered it from another place. With intentions of modifying FORScan to adjust it. I have full warranty too. My truck is two months old with me. However. Ive already tweaked a few things on my Bronco. And I even modified my 2018 Expedition. I backed up all original as built files. So I think I’ll just take my time. Install it. Hook it up. And then start the car. And see what pops up. And what DORSNT show up on the screens. Ya know. Then start modifying the simple mods first. Then go from there.

Removing the main cabin floor piece is very easy. 8 (10mm bolts under the plastic caps) and it’ll come out. The side pieces are def sticky to the wall with the pop out fasteners used. But I didn’t break anything. I removed the seat flap middle piece first after the floor. Then removed both sides. You can definitely get to access things easy afterwards. And doing the sound deadening was a no brainer.

I actually did the same about two weeks ago. One thing leads to another and pretty soon its a mObridge, new sub box and sub, full dynomat cargo area, front seating area and wiring new ditch lights to rewiring GMRS radio under the seat......what a pain.
It’s like Tetris and legos.

Don't forget to plug the port!
I actually think I want to leave it ported. I’m going to put boomat inside the box and then fill it with poly fill. But leave it ported.

how difficult is it to pull the carpet and disassemble all the plastic side pieces?
There are tons of videos and how-to guides. The large cargo side walls are the hardest thing to get off - but not impossible. Just have the proper trim tools and extra clips in case one breaks (not a big deal, they are kind of meant to be replaced easily).

Rear cargo mat/carpet comes up very easily. Seats up front are easy, and the carpet up front is pretty easy too, but requires a couple of cuts if you want to completely remove it rather than just rolling it toward the middle to get under it. It still goes back in just fine with the cuts, but saves you from having to remove the entire center console.

Adding my rear fog lights on the bumper. Found a small set that I’ve used on my Polaris Northstar. Lots of light. Intended to add more lighting off-road behind me. Backing up to trailers. Or at campsights. Simply taping into my rear fog light White/blue wire in the C424 connector.

Make sure you test it before you put the trim back in. Depends greatly on the speaker. I ran my first one ported and it was horrible. Big drop offs in frequency response. Your speaker may act different though

Does the blue white wire connect to the front fog light switch on the dash for the one you replaced that has the front and your fog light switch?

Additionally since I’m pulling wires apart I am going to upgrade the two interior lights and possibly figure out how to put an overhead led light with a switch.

You can get those rear lights on Amazon for $22 each.

I used a LED switch that I got free from harbor freight for the ceiling light.

Yes. I tested it out the other day with a low voltage light tester. So change out the switch and turn on in FORScan.

Wired up the rear fog light wiring in the corner pocket drivers side. It’s works great! Turn the car ACC ON or start and run. Turn on lights at headlight switch and then push the rear fog button. ;)
