Hello Lorne,
Great to see you over here on Bronco6g. We have chatted on Mustang6g and are following the same path... 2019 Shelby, then the addition of a 2024 Bronco.
I was also recently thinking I need to pull the doors off this fall while the weather is great.
I was going to ask how the Shelby repairs are going, but I'll just follow it over at Mustang6g so we can keep this Bronco related.
Thanks Dave! Fancy meeting you over here! LOL
I just PM'd you.

Finally took the plunge and removed the doors. Ordered weather seal rubber to go on the edging to prevent chipping the paint. Also purchased the Ford OEM door bags which are very high quality and fit well. The 2-door model doors are longer and a bit awkward to handle, but with two people it was a breeze to take of.
I was a bit surprised at how much colder the ride was with the doors off vs just the top.
It was 70-74 degrees F and still had to wear a light coat.
All in all it was a good experience, but it didn't wow me like I thought it would.
Maybe when it's 80 degrees F plus and I can tool around town the vibe might be different, but for any type of significant road trip it is not ideal.
Had to get over the feeling of being a bit exposed, especially after having just been in an accident with my Mustang.

Dumb question but where did you get those door sill/hinge covers? can you use them with the regular doors still on

Installed an ELD rear axle into the Base. I now have everything I wanted from the factory. Well, I will when I can hook up the ELD after FedEx delivered the pigtail to the wrong #&*@ing house!

My only picture is the moment when I was reconsidering my choices.

Did you buy a complete axle assembly?
