John deere just got hammered for not allowing owners and service shops to fix deere equipment. I've ordered a taillight form that website and they also insisted on a vin..... I told them to STOP asking, I was sure of the part number and they backed off.....it's just them.

You may have had a bad rear engine seal and the oil leaked out while driving, although you should of seem some drips when parked. The 3.0 is known for bad a rear engine seal, mine was replaced at 70k under extended warranty ( thank you grainger )
When the bronco raptor first came out the program manger stated that the 3.5 didn't fit properly and they didn't like the torque curv of the 5.0 vs the 3.0
personally I still wish they would of offered the 5.0 anyway.....
hmmm... I've always used 91 octane, non ethanol and never have had any problems. I would say try changing your oil to a high quality full synthetic of your choice.
