They just made lane filtering legal where I live. I expect a lot more 2 wheelers to get hurt doing so while simultaneously complaining about car drivers.
There's also a push to make lane splitting legal, which is even more stupid.
Mechanical things I do:
Oil/filter -- 5k or 1 year. Usually don't make mileage and end up doing every 2-4k depending on vehicle.
Air filter - 10k miles (lots of dirt roads)
Cabin air filter - 10k miles (again, lots of dirt)
Washer/coolant/brake fluid top off as needed
Tire rotation every 5k...
I only put drain valves on oil pans/drains that are a PITA, like the stupid plastic plug Ford is using on EBs. Luckily, my '24 2.3l has a simple, tried and true metal plug.
I always pull it off and clean it. It collects dirt and moisture so I like to get rid of that to avoid rust. I also don't want it to catch any oil that will then drip and make me wonder if my engine is leaking!
Most likely means your battery is getting weak. If you go the menu/view for it, it will tell you exactly why it's not working when you come to a stop (in real time).
I have various pouches that store: pump up kit, survival/first aid kit, foldable shovel & saw, soft shackles, warm clothes, emergency rations. Need to rearrange it to try to squeeze in my snatch strap.
Tailgate molle panel for my 2DR. Vastly improved my storage situation, which is rough in the 2DR. I wheel and I store a lot of emergency/recovery gear permanently.
I'm in a similar position -- usually my tires have plenty of tread life left but are too old to continue using. I still rotate them for better ride/handling, and on the Bronco because I wheel and the 5 tire rotation may save me some money if I ruin a tire.
The roadless rule only restricts the building of new roads and commercial logging.
It does not prevent the use and maintenance of existing roads.
It does not prevent recreational use, including motorized recreational use.
It does not prevent other commercial activities, such as mining...
The blend door actuator in my 03 Explorer failed (the little gear was cheap plastic and stripped). It would move from "hot" to "cold" by itself but not the other way. The car was so old (at that time 15 years or so) it wasn't worth fixing (it required taking most of the dash off and/or cutting a...
